Lib Dems select West Midlands Mayor candidate
Sunny Virk is a barrister and mediator from the West Midlands

Sunny Virk has been named as the Liberal Democrats' candidate for West Midlands mayor.
The barrister and mediator last stood for the party in October's Tamworth by-election.
Mayoral elections are being held on 2 May, with Conservative Andy Street having held the position since 2017.
Mr Virk, who comes from the region, said he would focus on the transport network and attracting investment, describing the West Midlands as the "beating heart of Britain".
