Witness appeal after man dies following car crash

Police are appealing for anyone with information about a fatal collision to come forward.

The incident, involving a grey BMW 3 Series which hit a tree, happened close to the A436 near Hawling in Cheltenham at about 11:40 GMT on 26 October.

The driver, a man in his 40s, was taken to Southmead Hospital in Bristol suffering from serious injuries and he passed away on 14 November.

His next of kin and the coroner have been informed and his family are being supported by specialist officers.

Gloucestershire Constabulary is asking for anyone who may have seen the BMW beforehand or anyone who has relevant dashcam footage to come forward quoting incident number 152.
