Fire causes delays on Prince of Wales bridge

Delays have been reported on the M4 after a vehicle caught fire on the Prince of Wales Bridge.

Traffic on the westbound carriageway was limited to one lane following the incident early on Friday morning.

Slow traffic has been reported in the area, and National Highways said the lane reopened after 08:30 BST.

The incident comes after a major crash overnight also on the M4 near Swindon, which has closed the westbound carriageway.

Traffic is also slow on the M48 on the approach to junction 21 because of the incident.
