A man who takes his pet rats out to meet people in his local town says he is trying to end the stigma surrounding the rodents.

John Wolski keeps several of the animals as pets and regularly takes them into Newquay, Cornwall, for a little fresh air and to make some new friends.

BBC Radio Cornwall's James Churchfield joined him and his rat Spike, as they surprised some members of the public.
