Motorcyclist suffers serious injuries in crash

The crash happened at the junction of Ashlands Road and Leeds Road in Ilkley

A motorcyclist has suffered serious injuries after a car and a motorbike crashed in Ilkley.

West Yorkshire Police said the collision happened near Ashlands Primary School at the junction of Leeds Road and Ashlands Road.

It involved a red Ducati motorbike and an orange Renault Zoe and took place at about 16:30 BST on Wednesday.

Witnesses who saw the vehicles prior to the crash or those with useful video footage have been asked to come forward.
