In pictures: MacAvalanche snow bike race

About 200 mountain bikers took part in a race through snow at Nevis Range near Fort William.
MacAvalanche involves a descent of more than 900m (2,952ft) from the summit of the mountain Aonach Mor.
The event is held to mark the start of the mountain bike season at the Lochaber snowsports centre.
