Gang leader Curtis Warren appears in court

Convicted gang leader Curtis Warren has appeared in court after being charged with a further seven breaches of a crime order.
The 60-year-old, from Liverpool, is already facing 11 counts of failing to comply with a Serious Crime Prevention Order (SCPO) - said to have been committed following his release from prison in 2022.
Warren appeared at Liverpool Magistrates Court to face seven additional charges in relation to the order.
The order, put in place to stop him committing further serious offences, imposes a number of restrictions on his movements, ability to travel, finance, and business dealings.
The National Crime Agency (NCA) said the new charges related to alleged breaches committed between May 2023 and January 2024.
They include allegations of failing to notify the NCA of:
a change of use of vehicles
a change to a communication device
a change to business premises
a change of bank accounts
He is also alleged to have breached the order by having more than £1,000 in his possession.
Warren, originally from Toxteth in Liverpool, but now living in Boldon, South Tyneside, made no indication of pleas to the new offences.
He was charged last November with 11 counts of failing to comply with a serious crime prevention order.
During the five-minute hearing, Warren was told he would be released on conditional bail but needed to be back at Liverpool Crown Court on April 12.
The original SCPO was imposed following Warren's release from prison in November 2022.
Warren was arrested by the NCA in Boldon Colliery, South Tyneside, in July last year.
A trial date has already been fixed for November 18 at Liverpool Crown Court.
