Man dies and woman seriously injured in crash

A man has died and a woman is being treated for serious injuries after their car collided with a lorry.

Norfolk Police said a white Toyota Hilux crashed with a DAF truck at Tivetshall Road, at Pulham Market, Norfolk, at 06:50 GMT.

The passenger in the car, who was in his 20s, died at the scene.

The Hilux driver, a woman in her 40s, was taken to Addenbrooke's Hospital in Cambridge by air ambulance. The lorry driver had minor injuries.

The road was closed for six hours after the crash.

Officers appealed for witnesses or anyone with dashcam footage of either vehicle before the incident to contact them.
