The Mountain Road has reopened following the removal of signage reminding motorists that two-way traffic has been reinstated after the Isle of Man TT.

The A18, which is the main route between the island's capital and the north of the island, has been shut between Creg ny Baa and Ramsey until 12:30 BST.

The Department of Infrastructure took down the temporary signage installed last Tuesday to highlight the change back from one-way to two-way traffic.

A one-way system had been in place throughout the TT period to reduce head-on collisions.
