An emergency road closure has been put in place on a section of the TT course in the west of the Isle of Man for four hours.

The Department of Infrastructure said the closure was for repairs to the carriageway surface in the area of Glen Helen.

The A3 Ramsey Road has been closed between Ballig Bridge and the Little London crossroads until 14:00 BST.

Pedestrians, scheduled buses and the emergency services will still be able to access the road, but all other vehicles have been told to follow diversions.
