Wolverhampton Arts Festival is returning to the city for its second year.

The event will be held on Victoria Street and inside the Mander Centre on Saturday 6 and Sunday 7 July, between 10:00 BST and 16:00 BST.

Performances by artists and musicians will fill the weekend alongside demonstrations and workshops.

"It will give a significant boost to the forgotten area of the Wolverhampton city centre, " the organisers said.

A community choir named the Howling Wolves, which formed more than 10 years ago will also perform, while arts and crafts created by artists will be on display.

Organisers hope the event will promote local artists and provide opportunities for people to experience the culture of Wolverhampton.

The festival, organised by the Framer's Gallery, is working with multiple organisations like Enjoy Wolverhampton, Wolverhampton Council and the Mander Centre.
