Part of the A30 will be closed in Cornwall for two nights while bridge inspections are carried out.
Cornwall Council said the eastbound carriageway would be shut from 20:00 BST on Wednesday and Thursday between the Chiverton junction and Carland Cross with diversions via the A3075, B3285 and B3288.
The A30 is set to reopen at 06:00 the following morning on both days, the council added.
In June, a major upgrade costing £330m was completed by National Highways to dual the carriageway between Chiverton and Carland Cross after four years of work.
The council added a single lane closure would also be in place on the westbound carriageway near Tolgroggan Bridge at the same times on both days.
