About 20 firefighters tackled a fire at a sawmill near Christchurch.

Fire crews were called to the building in Thatchers Lane, north of Bransgore, on Saturday afternoon.

No one was hurt but specialists were examining the scene on Sunday to see if there was any asbestos present, the fire service said.

The building was heavily damaged by the blaze.

Metal panels that make up the building brown and damaged after the fire on Saturday.
