Police say they have identified three potential suspects after a teenage girl was raped at a railway station.

Following Sunday's attack at about 17:50 GMT in Nuneaton, the Warwickshire force said it believed the potential suspects were in The Felix Holt Wetherspoon pub, Stratford Street, between 17:00-17:30 GMT.

Staff at the pub went into the men's toilets to ask them to leave, the force added.

Detectives said they were keen to speak to anyone who saw this or anything suspicious in the toilets around this time.

Det Insp Owen Fell, from the force, said, in response to concerns on social media that the force had not released a description of the suspects, there were "often operational reasons we don't release this information".

"I know this incident has caused a lot of concern in the local community and we have had patrols in the area around the station to provide reassurance," he added.
