A man arrested after he was reported by the two boys he abused and subjected to "serious physical harm and violence" has been jailed for 16 years.
Ibrahim Cetin, 54, of Liverpool, was convicted of rape, child cruelty, assault and actual bodily harm after a trial at Liverpool Crown Court.
He was also sentenced for the rape and repeatedly assaulted of a woman in December 2024, and was placed on the Sex Offender's Register indefinitely.
Det Ch Insp Phil Atkinson of Merseyside Police said his victims had shown "immeasurable bravery" in coming forward.
Cetin was arrested on suspicion of assault in February after the two boys said they had been abused by him several times, Merseyside Police said.
Following his arrest, his attack on the woman in December was also reported.
Cetin was later arrested and charged for the offences, and found guilty after a trial in August before he was sentenced on 3 October.
'Immeasurable bravery'
Det Ch Insp Atkinson said: "Cetin subjected his victims to serious physical harm and violence on numerous occasions.
"They have all shown immeasurable bravery in coming forward and telling us exactly what happened to them.
"Cetin also forced his victims to go through a trial after he denied the offences, but thankfully a jury saw through his lies and he was rightly convicted.
"As you can imagine for victims of such appalling crimes, the impact on them is significant and long-lasting."
The force urged anyone who has experienced any form of abuse, or knows of a child being abused, to come forward.
Det Ch Insp Atkinson said: "We take all such reports extremely seriously and if you can find the courage to come forward and speak to us we have specially trained officers who will treat you with sensitivity and compassion."
