A 24-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder following a shooting in Coventry, the fourth to be held in connection with the incident.

He was arrested on Monday, West Midlands Police said, after a man suffered gunshot injuries on Far Gosford Street on 13 September.

The suspect remains in custody while officers continue their inquiries.

Three other men, two aged 35 and the other 31, were previously charged with conspiracy to murder over the same incident.

The victim continues to recover from his injuries, the force added.
