A section of the Isle of Man's Mountain Road has been closed to allow for the second phase of a project to remove road racing equipment and signage.
The A18 shut between Tholt-y-Will Road to Creg ny Baa is closed at 09:30 BST planned works that expected to take until 20:00 BST.
A second closure of the section of carriageway during the same period is also due to take place on Tuesday if needed, the Department of Infrastructure said.
The project will see contractor remove safety barriers, hay bales, signage, portable toilets, marshals' shelters and equipment boxes put in place for the Manx Grand Prix.
The department said emergency access would be maintained at all times throughout the duration of the works.
Contingency closure dates of 23 and 24 September have also been scheduled should poor weather means the programme could not be completed, it added.
The latest closure follows the first phase of the works which saw race equipment removed between Barrule Park, in Ramsey and the Tholt-y-Will Road.
