Charge after man left seriously injured at pub

A man has been charged with inflicting grievous bodily harm after a man was left seriously injured at a pub in West Yorkshire.
The incident took place at about 23:30 BST on Thursday at the Red Lion pub, on Batley Road, Wakefield.
Speaking over the weekend, West Yorkshire Police said the injured man in his 60s remained in a critical condition.
Harry Mannion, 27, of Springfield Grange, Wakefield, was remanded in custody and is due to appear before magistrates in Leeds later.
