A football group has provided a lifeline for people with Parkinson's disease.

The weekly event, held at Solihull Walking Football Centre, gives members a chance to make new friends and improve their fitness.

Footballers said they forgot all about their condition once they crossed the white line on a Monday morning.

"It's just the best feeling in the world to be on the football pitch," said player Simon Forest.
