Nick Scanlon is the Britain First party candidate
Nick Scanlon is standing as the Britain First candidate in the London mayoral elections.
He will free the Met of political correctness
Mr Scanlon says his main priority when it comes to policing is to "free the Met from all strains of political correctness".
He says he will also make sure "ideologically left-wing groups like Extinction Rebellion" face the full consequence of the law and will ramp up stop and search in order to reduce knife crime.
He will decrease travel fares
On transport Mr Scanlon says he will freeze and then decrease transport fares.
He will have undercover officers onboard trains and buses to improve crime and open toilets in at least a quarter of all Tube stations.
Mr Scanlon has also pledged to reverse plans to change the historical names on the London Overground.
He will oppose mass immigration
On housing, Mr Scanlon says the biggest issue in London is the increase in mass immigration, which he will oppose.
He says until the issue is properly addressed then affordable housing will remain out of reach.
He will fund native cultural events
To promote culture in London, Mr Scanlon will make any vandalism to memorials and monuments an "unthinkable act".
He will provide substantial funding for native cultural events such as St George's Day and will "prohibit the demotion of Christian festivals such as this year's Easter holidays which instead saw Ramadan celebrations prioritised in London’s iconic Oxford Street".
He will put an end to the war on motorists
Mr Scanlon says he will cut unnecessary spending in City Hall and put an end to the war on motorists "which is costing hard working Londoners a fortune".
