Human remains found in a park have been identified as those of a man who had been missing for more than two years.
Karandeep Singh was initially reported missing from Slough on 13 December 2021.
The formal identification follows the discovery of the remains in Herschel Park, Slough, on 7 July.
Thames Valley Police said the death remained unexplained, its investigation was ongoing, and asked for anyone with information to contact the force.
Det Insp Nick Hind said: “First and foremost, our thoughts remain with the family and friends of Karandeep Singh, who are being supported by specially trained officers at this extremely difficult time.
“This incident continues to be investigated as an unexplained death and we are continuing to investigate the full circumstances."
