Four people have been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after shots were fired at a fish and chip shop.
Greater Manchester Police (GMP) said the chip shop window was damaged in the shooting on Minton Street in the Godwick district of Oldham at about 17:30 BST on Thursday.
One man was arrested shortly afterwards and later bailed pending further enquiries.
Another man was arrested earlier and two other men handed themselves into a police station.
'Ongoing investigation'
Three men, aged 23, 25 and 44 remain in custody on suspicion of attempted murder, a GMP statement said.
Insp Nick Helme said: "Even though we have made four arrests this is very much an ongoing investigation and I would like to thank the community for its help so far."
He appealed for people with dashcam or CCTV footage or who was in the area to contact police.
