Update 3 September: Dilawer Hussain subsequently pleaded guilty to possession of a Class B drug at Chichester Crown Court on 22 July. Police also confirmed on the same day that the remaining charges were dropped "as there was not a realistic prospect of conviction"

A man has been charged after a 15-year-old girl and a woman were allegedly stalked and sexually assaulted in a Sainsbury's in Surrey.

Officers were called to the supermarket in Guildford Road, Chertsey, on 23 January.

Dilawer Hussain, 38, of Rutherwyk Road, Chertsey, has been charged with one count of stalking with fear of violence, two counts of sexual assault and one count of possession of Class B drugs.

He has been remanded in custody and will appear at Guildford Crown Court on 27 February, according to police.

Anyone who witnessed the incident, which occurred between 13:00 and 14:00 GMT, is urged to contact police.
