Model railway club to host 41st annual exhibition

People in Jersey have been invited to view model railways at a special exhibition over the bank holiday weekend.

Jersey Model Railway Club is holding its 41st annual exhibition at the St Peter's Youth and Community Centre.

The group said there would be 15 different displays of model railways ranging in scales and sizes.

Geoff Morris, chairman of the club, said there was lots to be excited about.

He said: "[It's] very popular and of course with the changing scene with the younger people, electronics and all the gadgets.

"You can even operate model railways from your mobile phone now."

The display will be open to visitors from Saturday until Monday between 10:00 and 17:00 BST.
