Police officer denies GBH charge outside nightclub

A North Wales Police officer has pleaded not guilty to committing grievous bodily harm against a teenager outside a Bangor nightclub.

Ellis Robert Thomas, 24, from Gaerwen on Anglesey denied the charge against 17-year-old Harley Murphy, outside the former Cube nightclub on 29 January 2023.

Appearing at Llandudno magistrates' court Mr Thomas was told his trial will be held at Caernarfon Crown Court on 9 December.

Mr Thomas was released on bail, and North Wales Police told the BBC he was on restricted duties.
