The family of a teenager who died in a motorcycle collision say he lived his last few hours doing what he loved.

Brandon McCormick was riding his off-road bike when it crashed in Standish near Stonehouse, Gloucestershire on Sunday morning.

The 19-year-old, from Gloucester, was pronounced dead at the scene.

"Your laugh still rings in our memory, son," said his family.

'Hardworking, funny, courageous'

The statement continued: "I only wish more of the world got to see the version of you that we saw. Hardworking, funny, courageous - but most of all a thrill-seeking teenager.

"The protector of your sisters and brothers, the guider of your niece and nephew."

They said his "dedication and approach to life was second to none" and he lived life the way he wanted.

"Your passing will forever haunt us, but son, you really lived your last few hours doing what you loved on your bike alongside your many friends.

"We love you son, more than yesterday, but less than tomorrow."
