Fire crews tackle factory blaze

Six fire engines attended a factory fire in Coventry on Friday

Firefighters have tackled an early morning blaze at a factory in Coventry.

It started in the ground floor of the building on Barlow Road at about 04:00 BST, with six crews attending the scene at the height of the fire.

They included teams from Foleshill, Coventry, Binley, Sheldon, Solihull and Canley, with the fire extinguished by 07:40.

A fire service spokesperson confirmed the fire was believed to have started accidentally and that there had been no injuries reported.
