A woman has been charged with murdering a 41-year-old man who was discovered dead at his home in Macclesfield.

Cheshire Police found Stephen Rothwell's body on Cross Street after reports of sudden death at 10:35 BST on Tuesday.

Aurin Makepeace, aged 42, from Victoria Road, Prestatyn, has been charged with his murder and is due before Warrington Magistrates Court later

A 41-year-old man and a 21-year-old from Macclesfield who had been arrested on suspicion of murder have been released without charge, Cheshire Police said.
