A suspect has been arrested after a man broke into the homes of two elderly women and performed sexual acts on himself.
The man first targeted one of the homes in Horwich, Bolton, at about 22:00 BST on 20 July before returning to the property multiple times throughout the night.
Greater Manchester Police said he broke into a second home days later on 26 July at about 03:00.
The 32-year-old suspect was arrested on suspicion of trespass with intent to commit a sexual offence and has been bailed pending further enquiries.
PC Chanel Aspinall said the force was taking these concerning reports extremely seriously.
"People deserve to be safe in their own homes and we will act against anyone who is targeting vulnerable people to commit crimes," she added.
