Aung San Suu Kyi film premiers at Toronto Film Festival
A new film focusing on the struggles of Aung San Suu Kyi has premiered at the Toronto international Film Festival.
Directed by Luc Besson and starring Michelle Yeoh, The Lady tells the story of the relationship between the Burmese pro-democracy activist, under house arrest in Rangoon, and her husband, the academic and writer Michael Aris, thousands of miles away in England.
