£30m boost to business start-up loan scheme for the young

An extra £30m is being made available by the Government over the next three years to help young entrepreneurs in England start new businesses.

Ministers say they are expanding the scheme because it has been so popular since it started in September 2012.

But Labour claims recent figures on the uptake of the loans suggest they are not being delivered effectively.
