Director Steven Soderbergh bows out of film with thriller
The respected American director Steven Soderbergh has made his last film for the big screen with the release of his new psychological thriller Side Effects.
It has garnered strong reviews but he plans to pursue other artistic endeavours after one final made-for-tv movie.
Some of Soderbergh's cast expressed their disappointment at his retirement; Jude Law described it as "a great loss" while Catherine Zeta-Jones said she was "devastated".
