Japan carriers hit by Dreamliner delays

Boeing has beaten analyst forecasts with a 20% hike in earnings to $1.1bn (£720m) for the first three months of this year.

But problems besetting its 787 Dreamliners, which have been grounded across the world, continue to overshadow the financial success.

This Saturday will see the aircraft's first flight since its grounding. It will be from Ethiopia to Kenya.

The biggest buyer of the aircraft is Japan's All Nippon Airways and, as Rupert Wingfield-Hayes reports, it will be weeks before the carrier's passenger planes fly again.
