On the water with RNLI volunteers on rescues across Wales
From boat rescues at sea, to helping residents escape their flooded homes, the number of people rescued by the RNLI across Wales people rose in 2014.
Lifeboat crews helped 1,244 people in 2014, an 8% increase on the previous year and the highest figures since 2006.
Whitmore Bay in Barry, Vale of Glamorgan, had the most rescues, while Porthcawl was the busiest station.
The most common reason for callouts was people getting cut off by the tide.
