Wales floods: RNLI rescue in St Asaph block of flats

An RNLI flood rescue team has used a boat inside a block of flats in St Asaph to evacuate a victim of the floodwaters.

About 500 homes were evacuated in the city in Denbighshire when the river Elwy burst its banks, breaking through defences and turning streets into rivers.

Severe flood warnings - categorised as a danger to life - have been declared for two stretches of the river.
