Single Asian market 'massive boost', says ADB's Groff

It's been billed as the world's greatest emerging economy with a 2.4 trillion US dollar marketplace.

The group of South East Asian nations known as ASEAN say they want to follow the European Union's lead and become a single market.

The 10-member bloc is still a long way from economic integration, but the Asian Development Bank's Vice President Stephen Groff says the ASEAN economic community could give a massive boost to economic growth in the region.
