Votes at 16: 'Everyone who pays taxes should get to vote'

People aged 16 and 17 could soon be able to vote at some elections in Wales under plans to modernise voting.

The Welsh Government wants to lower the voting age for local council elections in 2022.

Cabinet Secretary for Local Government Alun Davies said he also wanted to allow anyone who legally lives in Wales to have the right to vote.
