Flooding, rescues and mudslides in California
The National Weather Service says that over 10in (25cm) of rain have fallen in Los Angeles since Sunday. An atmospheric river brought storms that have left at least 150,000 people without power.
On Tuesday, the Los Angeles Fire Department said they were responding to 130 reports of flooding and more than 300 mudslides after the heavy rainfall.
