CBI chief wants 'prosperity for all of us'

As the Confederation of British Industry opens its annual conference, CBI President Helen Alexander has said the aim of business is ''to create prosperity for all of us''.

Business leaders are calling for regulations to be cut, taxes reduced, and more done to attract investment from abroad.

Prime Minister David Cameron is due to address concerns about the impact of government spending cuts, telling the CBI how economic growth and new jobs will be generated.
