What if you can't make it to work?

Roads have been blocked, trains cancelled and airports closed. For many, getting into work may well prove impossible.

So what rights do you have if you cannot make it to your place of work due to the snow? Can your boss force you to take it as a day's holiday or are they within their rights not to pay you?
