Nintendo hopes rest on 3DS console after fall in profits

Nintendo starts selling the long-awaited 3DS portable gaming console in Japan on Saturday.

The firm reported a sharp fall in its profit for 2010 last week - putting extra pressure to make the 3DS debut a success.
