Japanese told to save electricity in wake of earthquake

In the wake of the Japanese earthquake and subsequent shut-down of the Fukushima nuclear plant, the government is asking people to cut down on their electricity use.

The Japanese will have to get used to walking more, as many escalators have been stopped.

Offices will become warmer, as the government calls for a crackdown on air conditioning - and even the heated toilet seats have to go.
