Phone hacking: Advertisers shun NoW over fresh claims
Several big companies including the Halifax, Virgin Holidays and Butlins have said they will not place adverts in the News of the World this weekend, in response to public anger over recent phone hacking allegations.
It has also been claimed that journalists paid tens of thousands of pounds to police officers for information over a period of years.
The BBC's Gavin Esler spoke to Marketing Week's Lara O'Reilly to discuss the ongoing crisis at the newspaper.
