A drive through the new A3 tunnel
A stretch of the A3 in Surrey has long been one of the UK's most notorious traffic blackspots, but it is hoped that the opening of the UK's longest road tunnel will change all that.
Costing nearly £400m, the scheme bypasses the village of Hindhead and the Devil's Punch Bowl, a natural beauty spot.
The BBC's transport correspondent Richard Scott went for a drive inside the new tunnel ahead of its opening on Wednesday.
