Motorists cheer as Hindhead Tunnel opens in Surrey

The £371m Hindhead Tunnel under the Devil's Punch Bowl in Surrey has been officially opened after a four-and-a-half year construction project.

Southbound traffic will start using the tunnel, with northbound traffic due to begin in a few days' time.
