EU leaders to hold emergency talks

On Wednesday afternoon EU leaders will be holding emergency talks on the telephone as they face the most serious crisis in the 12 year history of the euro.

The European Commission president has called it the most serious challenge in a generation - and revealed plans for eurobonds which would allow eurozone countries to collectively borrow money.
