US Treasury Secretary Tim Geithner joins Ecofin meeting

US Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner has joined EU finance ministers in Poland as British chancellor George Osborne said the situation in the eurozone was "grave".

Mr Geithner's presence at the Ecofin meeting is a sign of how concerned the US is about the crisis spreading beyond Europe.
