Social gaming company Zynga begins trading on NASDAQ

Zynga starts trading on the NASDAQ stock exchange on Friday.

The online social gaming company, which makes Facebook games including Mafia Wars, Farmville and Castleville, raised $1bn (£1.5bn) in its flotation.

That means the firm could be worth approximately $9bn (£13.5 bn).

Julie Meyer from Ariadne Capital, which advises and invests in young technological companies, told Radio 5 live Wake Up To Money how Zynga makes its money.
