Online shoppers face delivery problems in run up to Christmas
Online shopping is becoming an increasingly popular way to buy Christmas gifts - but getting hold of your purchases might not be as easy as it seems.
Figures out for last year show that a quarter of online shoppers received their goods "later than expected", while 13% said they received nothing at all.
Meanwhile one in five found their presents had been left with neighbours, without their permission.
The same number got a "Sorry we missed you" note through the door - when they had actually been at home the whole time, a practice that has become known as "carding".
Rahul Sharma, a retail analyst a Neev Capital, says the success of internet shopping has put a strain on delivery services.
