Chuka Umunna: RBS changes welcome

Around 3,500 jobs are to go at Royal Bank of Scotland over the next three years.

The bank, which is 82% owned by the taxpayer, wants to reduce the risks taken at its investment banking division and increase its returns.

The shadow business secretary, Chuka Umunna, welcomed the fact that RBS was making the changes.
